We are pleased to have this opportunity to present to all breast cancer patients, their friends, and their families a website that seeks to bring some clarity and wisdom to help illuminate a healing pathway. What makes our website different from other breast cancer websites? Awhirl in the sunless, tangled woods of cancer therapies, breast cancer patients need to explore the latest, most cutting-edge therapies to help forge a clear pathway. Although we, the Editors, are not trained medical professionals, we have been passionately collecting and sharing voluminous studies as well as supporting one another in our breast cancer group for close to two decades. Our website details facts and hypotheses about breast cancer therapies, reviews differing sides of controversial issues, incorporates the richness of patient stories, and is delighted to be able to entertain editor and guest commentary on issues. We have tried to selectively choose pertinent information that will be helpful. For this website, we have included the best of older research in the manner of articles, studies, and books, all burnished with freshly published material. The topics include: FOODS, HERBS & SUPPLEMENTS, SELF-HELP, IMAGING, SURGERY, THERAPY, FREQUENCY THERAPY, AND OXYGEN-OZONE THERAPY. A FEW IDEAS COVERED... Why is organic food helpful for a breast cancer patient? How about turmeric and piperine? What is tumor seeding? How about 6-shogaol ginger and cancer stem cells? How does MSM "make peace, not war"? What does the combo of sun and eating greens generate? We were morally impelled to write this website.
Through the decades, we have had some members who have been harmed by bad advice. When bad advice is given in the world of alternative medicine, it is particularly painful. Advice may be muddled by medical and non-medical professionals who are selling products and services and have not, wittingly or not, kept abreast of the newest research. "Our primary purpose in life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them." Dalai Lama We are volunteers .... We are consummate volunteers who have strived to compile and present the latest information on breast cancer. We hope that we have done honor to the many researchers who have dedicated their lives to studying beast cancer to help breast cancer patients. Since we are not trained medical professionals, we absolutely do not come to any conclusions or proffer any recommendations for any given therapy. To our dear readers, we ask only that each of you will mull over this information and discuss it with a caring, knowledgeable medical professional. We are pleased to be able to share our website with you, and are hopeful that some of this imparted information will uplift your spirits and help imbue you with confidence about your decision-making process as you progress along your healing pathway.
